Home Tour

The floorplan blends efficiency with comfort. Here it shows the entry
from the back of the home into the great room, the main bedroom in the round
sleeping area, and the second bedroom identified as a study. Click on
different sections of the plan above to see the corresponding pictures of
the home.

The beauty and intrigue of the house begin before entering the front door.
It lies on the north side of of the house beneath a whimsical tiled portal.
Inlaid tiles, carved wood scroll work, and other artistic touches showcase
its artistic flair and character.

Once inside the beautiful cooper and wood door, a coule of steps lead down
through the entry area. It functions as both an airlock and entryway
to the home. Skylights and side windows light the room and provide
ventillation.

This incredible stained glass door invites guests to the rest of the home.
Before doing so, benches on each side of it provide a place to take off
shoes before entering.

Upon entering the spacious great room, many thinks attract the eye from the
rustic flagstone floor, stained vigas on the ceiling, a kiva fireplace
bordered with micacious painted nichos to the mountain views outside of the
window. Built in cabinets and an included entertainment center allow
enjoyment next to the cozy fireplace.

The kitchen sits on the other side of the great room. Gray water
planters next to the windows support lush tropical vegitation and recycle
water for future use. The large black object to the right of the
arched door is a SunFrost refrigerator which runs on DC power from the
home's solar panels.

This detail view of the kitchen area shows its many details including a
custom mosaic tile back splash, a stainless steel stove, and intricate
cabinets. A door to the left leads to the greenhouse, and the arched
entry leads to the bedrooms and bath.

The smaller bedroom or study features windows that look out to the
greenhouse to the courtyard and mountains beyond. Sunlight heats the
brick floor an operable window brings in or shuts out the air from the
greenhouse to allow temperature control.

Glass blocks at the top of the smaller bedroom's wall bring light to the
hallway behind it. A large open area of this hallway (not shown in
this picture) has washer and dryer hookups and functions as a laundry area.

The bathroom includes a pedestal sink, toilet, and shower. A glass
block wall lights this room from the greenhouse yet provides privacy.
Flagstone walls and floors provide rustic elegance. Earthship bottle
art decorates the shower wall.

The greenhouse serves many functions including a walkway between the living
room, main bedroom and bathroom, a conservatory, passive solar heating for
the home, and planters for water recycling. The windows on the left
open to the kitchen, smaller bedroom and bathroom. The door ahead
leads to the patio.

The circular main bedroom gives the home its castle-like feel due to its
soaring domed ceiling topped with a skylight. A tromb seasonally heats
wall heats the room. Luxurious built in amours provide clothing
storage.
The sheltered courtyard extends living space to the outdoors. A
flagstone patio provides the perfect spot for outdoor entertaining, dining,
and sunbathing. Or on a cool night, enjoy sitting around the fire pit
and gazing at New Mexico's starlight skies.
Please plan to pursue this beautiful and luxurious home quickly if you think
that it may work for you as it is an extremely desirable property and may
